Tuesday 10 January 2012
The SportAccord World Mind Games, hosted in Beijing from December 9-16th, achieved it's key objectives with enhanced awareness, competitive success by a wide range of nationalities and an international broadcast platform using the latest technology and resources.

‘‘The Municipality of Beijing is seeking to enhance its image as an Intelligent City. The SportAccord World Mind Games presented an outstanding exposure opportunity for Chinese educational and cultural values.’’ said Hein Verbruggen, President of SportAccord.

SportAccord and Beijing Sports Bureau forged an innovative partnership to ensure the 2011 World Mind Games reaches a global audience. The Beijing LOC appointed Beijing Television as host broadcaster. SportAccord appointed IEC in Sports to create an international television production and appointed Swiss Timing to provide all graphics and results.
