Monday 28 November 2011 TV Tokyo, Dentsu Inc and IEC in Sports have joined forces to promote one of Japan's most prestigious events; IJF Grand Slam Judo, taking place in Tokyo from December 9-11 2011. The event is part of the IJF World Judo Tour with sixteen top judoka in each wight category competing.
Under the terms of cooperation, TV Tokyo will produce a broadcast feed of all semi-finals and finals and air the bouts in Japan. Dentsu will market the event and IEC will exclusively represent the international broadcast rights.
